Day 5: A little indulgence and a little goodbye to San Fran

Day 5:
We said goodbye to Tom and Brenda at Belle De Jour Inn and headed back to San Fran for a little San Fran indulgence.
Saying goodbye to our B&B.
I now see why they said we had a clear day on the 4th for a great drive across the golden gate bridge.
July 4th driving across the bridge:
July 6th driving back across the bridge:

I hear this is typically how foggy it is in San Fran. It was so crazy bc it was completely different from how our first two days in San Fran were before coming to Healdsburg. We had a few indulgences on our last day.
Heaven? Maybe a little piece of it!
Typical right? Andrew left it up to me to devour the sunday. So worth it.
The chocolate sunday--it was fabulous!
Then of course we had to satisfy Andrew's favorite indulgence: burgers! We just recently got an In and Our Burger in Dallas but the line--well, we aren't going to wait in that line. So we thought we would get the real experience of In and Out in California. It was good. Ill leave the ranking of the burger up to Andrew since thats his area of expertise.
We did Lombard street as well on Wednesday. We had time to spare--specifically for this reason (burgers, chocolate, and Lombard street).
The houses are beautiful, the hydrangeas are to die for! and the street is curvy. Trixie (rental car) handed the curves well and it was perfect with the top down. We loved it.

What is this picture? Well you might ask because its pretty pointless. Until you realize this is where (10 minutes before our segway tour on Saturday), I busted on my face. My flip flop got caught in the cable car rivet and well..next thing we know is Im laid out on all 4's flat on my face. People stopping to help me up. I hobble back to the corner by Andrew's help and just sit there with bleeding hands, a bleeding knee, a bleeding shoulder, and an elbow (the one I once broke) that won't straighten all the way. Obviously I wasn't that bad off bc I managed to successfully ride on a segway up and down hills for 3 hrs but it was a painful fall. All is well and it only took till the middle of the segway tour for me to bust out laughing at myself. I was just riding along laughing, picture this girl falling on her face in the middle of the street. Fun way tot start the trip. Thankfully that was the only mishap/accident we had!
Goodbye San Fran
