11 months

I will say I started getting a little too sentimental and emotional this month in regards to you being 11 months old.

How can it be? How can this little 7lb nugget almost be turning 1 year old.

Getting 2 more teeth in, as we speak (on the top)

You do laps around the house, non stop crawling (speed crawling might I add)

You love chasing and playing with Ty. Yall seem to have your own little games sometimes.

You're still quite the eater.

Favorite foods remain the same:

waffles

all fruit

graham crackers

we are really working on our vegetables, you are doing so much better with them

Favorite activities:

walking while holding mommy or daddys hands

pulling up anywhere

feed food to Ty

standing at the back door and watching Ty outside

swinging

Love play dates and going for morning runs

Bottle time

Favorite books:

pat the bunny (will this be a life time favorite?)

Bath time is still a favorite. Ever since you got out of your pink plastic bath, you love to look in the little mirror part of the bath. I catch you doing it, you look at me and giggle. Its the best. You use the bath like a pool and just go back and forth.

 Super fun play dates with Bridget. Yall couldn't be cuter, seriously.

 Sweet weekend snuggles with daddy and donut runs.

Weekends are the best.

We had a 4th of July parade ( a weekend early) for our neighborhood that we went to down the street
Lots of fun!

 You discovered your belly button and also love to look at mommys

 One of your best friends. Im not quite sure he was prepared for you to be so mobile and interested in him. Ty has been very gentle with you. Hope it stays this way!

 We love visiting daddy at work and having lunch dates with him. We go up to see him in the office and also walk around Preston Center after lunch to only run into the BIGGEST bow we have ever seen

 We celebrated 4th of July with the parade this year. Its your first 4th of July and Im hoping next year we will get all the neighborhood kiddies and get to be in the parade. Im sure dad would love to pull a trailer of all the kiddos.

We made our own little USA flag shirts with our neighbors.

Hey, what is this thing!!

 Mom and dad went on a Dallas Staycation. We stayed at the Crescent and had the most wonderful long weekend. It kind of reminds me of Paris with the architecture and courtyard. Its just fun. We had fun with happy hours, nice dinners, a movie, sleeping in, and just running around town. We went to the Perot Museum which was interesting but Im sure will be more fun with Maddie can enjoy it and watch her excitement.

Deedee and E kept you while we played around Dallas for a few days.

 Kind of looks like you will be taking after mommy and enjoying your sweets!

I love your cuddles, even if its after a run and Im sweaty

 You started to stand up, pull up, and crawl all about this time

You loved pulling up and seeing Ty in your crib, it just made you giggle and smile

(two of my heart's favorite things to see and hear)

 We had our first swim lessons. You love the pool and the bath. You might also take after your mommy in swimming. Id love to see you swim on a team one day. We had lots of fun with Saturday morning swim lessons. You went under multiple times, like to float on your back, and would lean off the wall into my arms. Daddy and I usually take you for a run on Saturday morning and then we would go to swim lessons with a little Chick Fil A treat after. Saturdays are always so much fun. I so enjoy the time I get to spend with you during the week but when our family is complete with daddy home, its the best.

 Aunt Katie is having Claire. We threw an epic baby shower for little  Miss Claire. Its going to be so fun to have a cousin so close in age (about 1 year apart in age). You and Claire are going to play, swim, watch movies, have sleep overs, play dress up, and get into all sorts of mess I presume.

And I cant wait.

We love to have little play dates during the week. We went swimming with sweet Grace.

 During May we celebrated the best daddy ever. He has done an amazing job at helping raise such a sweet daughter. I have heard him talk about the bond between a daughter and a dad and let me tell you it was about the sweetest thing my ears have heard. Its special. Its sweet. Something I can't wait to watch grow over the years. We love you dad and thank you for all you do for us.

We celebrated by having the whole Morgan Clan over for a grill out. We had lots of deliciousness that evening.

 So many fun birthday celebrations. We were able to wish sweet Oliver a happy 2nd birthday. We have the best neighbors a family could ask for and love having so many fun friends on our street.
